The customized leaf spring shackle pin should not be used when one of the following conditions occurs.

1. Any part of the shackle body and the pin shaft has cracks when observed with the naked eye, and should be discarded immediately.

2. When there are cracks in magnetic particle inspection and ultrasonic inspection, it should be discarded immediately.

3. When the shackle body is obviously deformed and the pin shaft is deformed and cannot be rotated, it should be scrapped immediately.

4. When the wear of any section of the shackle body and pin shaft exceeds 10% of the nominal size, it should be scrapped immediately.

5. When the shackle body and pin shaft are corroded or rusted in a large area, they should be discarded immediately.

How to check a shackle.

1. Check the shackle regularly.

2. Check the stretch and wear of the arc of the shackle body. The arc is elongated, which means that the metal is overloaded.
3. Check whether the shackle ball and the screw hole are bent. Bending indicates excessive side load.

4. Check all shackle pins for deformation, surface flaws, wear and breaks.
5. All pins must be straight, and all screw holes must match the pins exactly.

6. Please replace the bent, excessively worn pins exceeding 10% of the original diameter, deformed pins, or customized leaf spring shackle pins with deformed screw holes in time.
